🔬 How I 3D printed a microtome to cut specimens for microscopy

It is possible to make your own microscope accessories. Here I (successfully!) 3D printed a microtome to make thin cuts of a carrot and potato to look at under the microscope.

In this video I show you:
– what a microtome is
– my 3D printer (brief)
– how I put the microtome together
– how I made cuts with the microtome
– and I look at the specimens under the microscope.
