This is a truly interesting innovation. The microscopy slide is scanned at high resolution and zooming and panning is done over the touch screen. This system may be interesting for educational applications.

Ya, I saw this. That is crazy, a slide scanner. What a great way for colleagues to discuss with one another. The screen device is a “bit” thick, but I’m sure they can and will whittle it down with the pace of technological advancement we all see.
