Can I still use microscopes even though I have no interest, space or time in preparing slides?
Found in: Labwork, Microscopy Basics

If you are not interested in laboratory work and slide preparation, then buy yourself a commercial slide box with ready-made specimens that interest you. These specimens were properly prepared, they were properly fixed, stained and mounted. you can always exchange them with other amateur microscopists. Make sure that you obtain slide boxes with a wide assortment of different specimens. Slide boxes made for medical students might only contain histological sections (i.e. samples of body tissue), which might not be as interesting as insects, flower parts or other more everyday objects.
