Glad to have found this forum. I am a semi-retired chemical engineer … old enough that the Chem E curriculum at Cornell actually had a "Chemical Microscopy" required course. My neighbor has a young son interested in chemistry and biology so I recently procured three AO Spencer 1036A microscopes … one of which I intend to donate to my protege. And the chance for a little tutoring has certainly regenerated my interest in microscopy …
Hi Qontry,
Glad you joined the forum: Welcome! It is wonderful that you have taken this hobby and that you are generously tutoring your young neighbor in microscopy. I'm sure this will be gratifying for you both. I hope you'll let us know how things are progressing. As I'm sure you've already found out, Oliver Kim has provided on the Microbe Hunter website much interesting and useful information and many suggestions that should be helpful in your tutoring effort.
