Hi all,

my name is Hendrik, and I am originally from South Africa where I had my own lab in my house. Recently I moved to Norway, but I decided to leave all my microscopy equipment (and telescopes) behind. I had a Nikon YS100 and a no-name Chinese stereo-microscope. Now I am living in a one-room flat, and don't have enough space to set up a lab…., but that is life. I have now ordered a new phase-contrast microscope and stereo-microscope from a place in Germany and are hoping to receive it soon (Hopefully it is not a fly-by-night company that took me for a ride). Looking quite forward into going into the forests and to find all kinds of new specimens for me to examine.

I would like to welcome you to the forum. Sounds like your gonna be busy with your new equipment , post a review on your new scope. If you want. I would be interested in what your thoughts are .
