These were found in wet soil.  For the first two (bright field) images, I used a 20x objective, exposures were 1/250 and 1/2000 s at 200 ISO.  For the third (dark field) I used a 40x objective, 1/8 s exposure at ISO 800.

Thank you very much, Manfred: I'm trying Smile.  I use two old tirnocular Nikon microscopes (long story how I ended up with two) equipped with CF optics, one I can use only for bright field, the other for phase contrast, dark field, and bright field.  I use a 2.5x projector lens and an Olympus E-P1 camera body with a remote shutter release.  I save images as RAW files and edit them in Adobe Elements 10 editor+RAW converter.

Phase contrast, 20x objective; exposure 1/15 s at 800 ISO.  Is this a diatom in the process of dividing?  Many thanks for looking and setting me straight Smile.

luca, thank you for the ID! Are you referring to the last one (that looks double)? Or to all of them?
