The web site Geology Rocks is a wonderful site full of information about rocks and stuff.

If you or any younger member of your family are interested in dinosaurs, there is a fun page where you can download line drawings of dinosaurs and colour them to your hearts content or you can use the interactive build a dinosaur scene.
