Hi there
I was wondering if anyone has had experience with collecting samples from estuaries in the UK and culturing viewing protozoa. What kinds of things might I be expected to find and does anyone have any tips here?

Do you have a special interest in a particular estuary?
I live within 20 miles of the Humber estuary, but I haven't thought of taking samples from that area, I may give it a visit.Thanks for the suggestion.

I live near the Exe estuary in Devon and will try and pick up some samples from there in the next week or two. Hopefully something will come of it – I'm still quite the amateur yet though.
