Very nice video. Reminds me of Edwin A. Abbotts' book 'Flatland' I read years ago. A book about two dimensional creatures.

Very nice video. I doubt if this is Frontonia atra, because that species is pointed at the posterior end.

Can't find a price, but I assume its will be very expensive. The styling is rather tacky, but the performance is impressive !

Nice video Don. I recognized a rotifer and a nematode, but don't know what (kind of worm?) the third giant was.

Thanks, I did now and I saw them. I wanted to compare them with what I saw some time ago (spirochetes), I think they are different: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MIOlmnPEdRUDid you watch the video in Maximum resolution?

I use the Panasonic lumix G9 mirrorless camera, combined with a 0.5x adapter. I also use it for bird photography.

Spirostomum minus
I found these ciliates in my small pond. They are about 700 microns long. The adoral zone of membranelles is about 1/3 of the body length. First part is low magnification and bright field, second part 2.5x larger magnification and oblique illumination.

Frontonia accuminata?
I think this is Frontonia accuminata because of the black 'spot' at the rear end. I have found one before, but its black spot was smaller. And the trichosysts are not present or less clear. So it could easily be another ciliate.
