Re: Camera ???
Well, I am back again with an update and some pictures if I can post them. I resolved the camera issue. The scope came with a parafocal "C" mount tube that came off Fleabay. Poorly made and with inch threads that were close to metric, loose fit by maker so to fit. The format was horrible with it and...

Re: Camera ???
I appologize for asking, but have you tried the camera with any fluorescence microscopy images yet ? because these are typically very low light images, so the camera needs to be very sensitive. I don't have a camera yet, that is the information I am seeking. My prime interest is in dark field and b...

Camera ???
I read much of the thread about them, now have a headache. Anyways, not asking for a brand if in violation, but whether a USB or HDMI and why? I have an A/O 110 trinocular fluorescence scope to hang it on. What I want to do is take and store pics on my laptop, along with printing them. Still frame o...

Sorry to hear your trouble with the condition. I am a microbiologist and have some concerns about your intent. As of 2013, culturing and identifying Borrelia burgdorferi is not an easy task even in a professional lab (that may be why it took you 3 trips): https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P...

I was not asking for any medical advice, just expressing my thoughts.
Further, it was not our PC doctor but the lab that fell down.
As far as self diagnosis is concerned, if that needs to be done,
I will send my brother the slides for review, he is a medical doctor in NC.

If you are using an incandescent bulb and you have a rheostat type slider it may need cleaning with an electronics spray cleaner, from Home Depot.
I found that these Chinese microscope LED lights are stepping not linear, and some have color shift
as the intensity changes.

Pretty much a newbie to this. I have been at this challenge for about three months now. Never had any formal school classes in bio or chem. i have two series 10 A/O scopes, one for bright field and the other for dark field. Working on a phase contrast one as a school surplus. Trying to learn about H...
