I think you might be able to find a Pl Apo for the Wild probably for around 300-400 euros, depending on condition. At least if you have time to wait on deals. If in a hurry, might cost double that. If I recall correctly, the WD for a 1x Pl Apo is around 40-50mm.

Thanks. I was able to realign the lamp condenser. It is straight now, not tilting. Also made a DIY target from a circular frosted glass filter. I think I was able to center the lamp according to the instructions in the 100Z user manual. Then I tried setting up the 402a Zernike condenser that I have ...

Further investigation revealed that the lamp condenser (to the left from the bulb) seems to be pretty misaligned. Isn't that supposed to be standing straight and not tilted like in the photo?

Okay, in that case it is maybe best to forget the swap. I value the Wild eyepiece pairs with diopter adjustment more than this rotation device. I could have parted with two pairs (of different mag) of the non-adjustable eyepieces.

I think I have a couple pairs of different eyepieces for Wild stereos, some higher mag as well, some originals from the M8 era and even before. Doe your binocular have the diopter adjustment on the binocular tube or is a newer type without that (relying on diopter adjustment being on the eyepieces)?
