If you are looking for software to use for measuring and adding scale and text plus other things to your images you may want to try this freeware:- Micam at, http://science4all.nl/?Microscopy_and_Photography Used here to mark up and measure original pollen image image from camera and then combine in...

Re: Voice Control? Foot Control?

I think you may have got your timing wrong on voice and foot control. IBM didn't bring out their first PC until the end of 1981 and there was no such thing as voice control. I was selling computers for Tandy Corporation in the UK in 1980 (Radio Shack in the US). The first IBM pc came with a tape rec...

Congratulations in getting it to work and by the way I have never been able to use a darkfield patch above 10x only ever turns out oblique. Never been able to get the correct diameter. Think I will have to buy the darkfield condensor. https://www.bresser.de/Mikroskopie/Zubehoer/Kondensoren/BRESSER-D...

Re: Mon microscope "Bresser" science infinity

I used the 40x objective for both images. You are of course correct there is not much difference between the 2 images. The Canon image can be improved I think with the 2x adaptor. The main reason for going for the Canon was for Video. The USB camera just can not cope with video due to the speed of t...

Try using postimage you can upload your images then use the share option: 'hotlink for forums'. You will need to sign up, but it's free. This doesn't use any of your image allowance on the forum. Just paste the link direct into your post. You will also not get the error message file size too large. ...

Is it in just one eyepiece or both? Take a photo with a phone or some other camera, does it appear in the photograph? Is it visible in different objectives?

Hi I will remove the camera and have a look at what actually happens when I take a shot. Edit: When using live view the mirror does not move. ie the mirror is 'locked up' so there is no vibration. It also has an electronic first curtain shutter. (From photo stack exchange): "Additionally on many cam...

Re: Mon microscope "Bresser" science infinity

Hi the shutter is already open, that's how you get the live view, all the camera then does is store the image and because it is done remotely from the computer screen there is no shock on the camera. The photo was captured using live view on my Canon 4000d. I am still using the 10x eyepiece as I hav...

I have the same scope without the trinocular tube. Be aware that you wont be able to fit 10cm rocks under the scope and get them in focus. You would need one on a boom. (the one I have is branded Optika, but it is the same).

Hmm the .17 on the objective is the size in mm. If you have something different on the objective then that is the size of cover glass you should use.

You need to make your samples thinner otherwise you will not be able to see the samples structure. May as well put stuff in a blender if you have to crush it to get it to fit under a cover slip.
