They are in no way the best ones, but while I figure out if I’ll be in the microscope hobby for the long run, they have served me well.
Like mentioned before.... start cheap

Timelapse with wet specimens
Hi guys,
I would like to do some timelapse videos (maybe recording 8 hours) to see how the micro world behaves, but I having issues of losing focus and I think it is because of water drying. Do you guys have any technique? Is it even possible to achieve this with a simple home setup?

Microscope Dust Cover
Hi guys,
What do you guys use to cover your microscope when not in use to avoid dust? I have seen some “dust proof” covers made from flanner cotton (mostly used for handbag storage) but I’m no sure if that works.
Your input is appreciated.
Thanks!

Welcome to the forum. I’m from the Dominican Republic living in FL. You can also take a look at Amscope. It’s in the same level as Swift and I can tell the customer service is top notch. I got the Amscope T340B. I like this one because the led is more powerful (3w VS 1w) and I have no complains at a...

Re: Question about eyepiece camera thru camera port
Thanks for the replies. I know the camera will get only part of the FOV, my question was related to the focus. Will the camera be in focus at the same time as the eyepieces or if I focus the eyepieces then I need to refocus if I will use the camera?
Thanks again!
Thanks again!

Question about eyepiece camera thru camera port
Hi guys. I have a question: on a trinocular microscope, using an eyepiece microscope camera, does the camera sees the same thing I’m seeing thru the binocular eyepieces or do I need to adjust the zoom differently for the camera? Can I see thru the eyepieces and my nephew watch thru the camera on the...

Re: I ordered a new microscope
I also just ordered an AmScope. Mine is the T340B.
I hope it’s better than the one I have been using (B380B). I decided for that one mainly because of the a higher led (3w vs 1w) and the Camera port

Getting a new microscope
Hi guys,
I want microscope but my budget is not very high (+/- US$300). Looking at that price range, looks like my options are AmScope or Swift.
What brand and model you guys would recommend?
I have been using a AmScope B380B from a friend.
Thanks in advance

Guys, I’m getting really addicted to this, but at the same time frustrated with my images (maybe I’m expecting too much from my AmScope microscope )
