I had a telescope as a child. In the years later a friend of mine gave me an old Russian microscope and I am in love ever since. I keep this old bad boy somewhere around. If you are interested I will look for it to share the model and the brand. (If it has one - made in USSR)

I love Lifehacks, so I will give you one of these solutions where you would use only items found at home and start exploring pretty fast. For beginner needs, any microscope would do. I would recommend to search for old used microscope. You could find such a device somewhere around the web.
