Have you posted your star spectra images anywhere – I would like to see. What did you use for that?

I wind water bears regularly in dry moss when collecting for nematodes (my research object).

If you can, look for mosses on rocks, or rooftops of old houses.

To add to my previous post: ImageJ has a number of plug-ins that do stacking, but I have not tried an of them (I use Zerene and Combine ZP regularly).

So, I guess I will just keep it. I will put my phase contrast setup on it. Instead of having to switch nosepiece/condenser on one microscope, I'll just have two microscopes instead. I wish I had more space.

My Ortholux with ICT (DIC) optics from the 60th performs almost as good as my modern Nikon.
