Yes sometimes they act like an amoeba.
The red eye spot, the nucleus and a paramylum-bar are visible. (I think)

I don't know a micropipette, but when using a pasteurse pipet I have to be carefully for the capillaire force. How so? When using a pipet it sometimes too much water and organisms. Most of the time I let it take that wat and press a little on the balloon of the pipet, SoVa little drop escapes. Then...

I think it is a Euglena, the flagelum is not always visible.
There are many species some with som without pointed back.
There is als Lepocinclis whis resembles Euglene very much.

Hello, as you can see from the subject title, I am from The Netherlands and I like looking through my microscope. Especially to the unknown world in a drop of water. It's a whole unknown world in that water. I use the book Das Leben im Wassertropfen, a great book which covers many organisms. But, th...
