What should the specific gravity of the floatant be for fecal examinations? Is the 1.25 to 3.00 correct?

Re: Vibrant DIC videos
What I learned from graduate school is, always assume I don’t “know enough”; if I have to put forward a HYPOTHESIS, be ready to accept that it is wrong. Geez! What I learned in life was much more important than what I learned in grad school. Lighten up. Have fun. Live and let live. No question is a...

Re: Making a drawing tube using a Wild beamsplitter?
I can't answer your question but I'm very interested in your effort for making a drawing tube. Line drawings are much more informative than photographs in some respects. It's a shame the techniques and equipment aren't more popular and better documented. Good luck in your endeavor and keep us posted...

I would like some prepared slides.
I'm just getting started and would like to buy some prepared slides. Can you suggest a source? I'm not looking for anything particularly exotic or expensive. Just some slides to get practice with my microscopes, i.e., beginner to intermediate set(s).
Thanks,
Daniel

Re: Looking for a NICE dust cover
I use old pillow cases. Perfectly functional for keeping off dust. Much more durable than the thin plastic covers.
