I am using a paraboloid glass condenser with oil touching the back side of the slide, then using a X4...

My Exhibition Box

Hi Members,

I was just going through my Exhibition box of slides and some of them are so old one can not read what is written on them, I have only shown you four trays and I hope you can read some of the labels.

Thank you.

Re: Didymosphenia geminata 'nobbles'

Hi einman,

I have searched through that excellent diatom site but came away still none the wiser. I have now been in touch with Sarah Spaulding to see if she can shed any light on the subject.

I think nobbles should read nodules.

Hi Peter, you are lucky not to have Varroa because they can if not treated kill off a colony of bees within one year. I have been keeping bees now for 19 years. They still fascinate me.

Ok i will get together my lighting stuff and experiment to get the best results, i think the greenish colour is from the camera makeup as i normally forget to reset the colouration within the settings of the camera and not the lighting. Time will tell! :?
