I had a hard time sectioning the 'spongy' leafs for cross-sections using only my rasor blade...

Thanks all for the advice. I probably will make a DIY system with dimmable option. After one day I am realy hooked on LEDs. My wet mounts seem to last forever..

My LOMO biolam is equiped with a light with a normal bulb. This is giving quite a yellow light, so I use a blue filter to get a white background. .. that is funny... Initially I was using the scope with the oculars facing away from the arm but then I noticed that the lettering on the sample stage was upside down, so I rotated the head... It works perfectly both ways....
