Re: Yes, MY microscope

Thanks Mr. BillT. I'll tell you, they expect that you really know what you're doing. It makes sense how to put it together, but it's all logic, nothing explained in the manual. Actually, in the manual they say the head is installed !? That's why I postponed a day, for me to search the internet the p...

Re: Yes, MY microscope

So, the scope came fast (4 days across Europe), directly from the factory in Netherlands. I bought it from Mr. Burkhard Pielarski from burkhards-shop.de because it was the cheapest dealer, and believe me I searched even in Netherlands. The site is a little weird to search, but I managed to find what...

Re: Yes, MY microscope

I wanted to update when I get the microscope, but I can't wait. Since I discovered this forum I started reading rookie stuff. As of yet, I didn't find a microscope relate subject that is not discussed on this forum, and there's always a certain group of amazing guys who give the most easy to underst...

Re: Yes, MY microscope

I have a good deal on this model sold by burkhards-shop.de The seller accepts transfer or PayPal, and made an offer few can refuse. For the IS.1153-PLi microscope, a cleaning kit, 50 blank and cover slides, a bottle of immersion oil, free shipping, PayPal, all for 1230 euros. I can't raise my credit...

Re: Yes, MY microscope

First of all I want to thank all of you for posting. I learned something from all of them. After my long research in the field, I crossed some brands off my list and I'm hunting for a Euromex IS.1153-PLi It's a little more expensive, but I hope to get it at a discount in the near future. Definitely ...

Re: Yes, MY microscope

I honestly believe for the beginner a decent Chinese scope is a better option than an unknown used scope from eBay.... Rudi Well... that added to the confusion :D, but thanks. Then, since I was convinced I was missing some quality, I started looking for scopes on eBay. I have now acquired 5 Olympus...

For the love of God, please open up the Amscope to see the internals. Let's settle this once and for all. :D

Re: Yes, MY microscope

I will ask my Romanian contact if he is interested in helping you out. Otherwise , I can set you up with a really good second hand microscope for much less than 1000.00 and a research grade one for about that. Both would make Chinese microscopes seem like large toys. I will message you with my emai...

Re: Yes, MY microscope

@BillT I also look for mechanical quality, although the T670Q-PL is rated as metal. Actually, maybe you overlooked this as just another model, but his specs are pretty amazingly good. If I can't find anything locally, I won't feel too bad if I end up getting an Amscope. It happens I had time these d...

Re: Yes, MY microscope

This could only be called very good news, although I don't know what NA means, and you could imagine what Google showed me when I searched "NA microscope". Yes, I live in Europe/Romania, a poor small country, so no chance of finding something worthwhile. My neighbors speak hungarian, bulgarian, russ...

Re: What purposes people use scopes ?

I thought about this, but because it looked odd I didn't ask. That doesn't mean I didn't pursue my question, so I don't think this question is weird anymore. Now that I think about it, I suspect everybody though about this at some point in time. Just as a curiosity. @Kalleboy I'm a rookie like you. ...

Yes, MY microscope

Hello everybody, I guess you also hate when a newcomer goes straight to posting dozens of questions, without a hint of reading the beginners section. Well, I'm not that guy. I've read most of the articles on buying-advice/page/1 through page 7, plus a few dozens Youtube videos and blogs. I'm also hu...
