first picture is showing section of "Brennessel" (Stinging nettel), second one needle of pine.
They are cutted with razor blades and selfmade microtom, stained with Wacker FCA

have you ever tried stacking software "Picolay" , "Combine ZP"?
Those are freeware, easy to handle and the results are very good.

Dear all,

I want to start today posting stem sections, and I want to add again and again sections I`ll do the next time.
Everyone of you is invited to upload his botanical sections in this thread, so we will have a large pool of images showing different plants.

ja ich verwende auch das Fujinon 1:1,4 / 16mm (mit C-mount) an der Touptek und bin sehr zufrieden damit.

KOH Kaliumhydroxid - es wird zum Aufhellen verwendet.

I find them very good,thin section and well stained,

Hallo, eine unserer Katzen "spendierte" einen Katzenfloh, eine gute Gelegenheit, dass Tierchen unter dem Mikroskop zu betrachten. bei der Untersuchung vom Fruchtfleisch des "Schwarzen Holunders" war als Beifang eine Milbe einer mir unbekannten Art dabei.
Zeiss Standard 16, fotografiert mit Canon EOS 750, gestackt mit Picolay.
Viel Spaß beim Betrachten
