Re: Wild M7A"in search of a binocular head"
100% compatible. Just make sure it's aligned when it comes in, it looks like it's had a rough time. The prisms inside the, uh....siedentoph arms? Can come detached and I understand that is a nightmare to fix. Great! I was really hoping you would be the one to help me. It is always clear how enthusi...

Wild M7A"in search of a binocular head"
Hello everyone, Cordial greetings. I have a question and asking for help. happen to have a Wild M7A stereoscope in storage for a few years now (well part of it), waiting to find a binocular head for it. Yesterday someone put this Wild binocular head for sale, and as I was reading a recent post where...

Thanks for the instructions about the fuscine.
This palm tree has been right above my window for 25 years, but fortunately we have never had a pollinated eye.

Re: Restored Leitz Großfeld Stereomikroskop TS
Hello. Well, the subject was a little shaky. The images are very sharp and contrasty at 1x but at 2:5x they start to wash out but still very good, and at 4.x they get quite dark and no longer have such nice contrast. At the end I was able to release the spiders safe and sound. IMG_20210217_211000.jpg...

Re: Restored Leitz Großfeld Stereomikroskop TS
Looks wonderful. Thanks you sir. IMG_20210216_132435.jpg That is a beautifully restored instrument. If my eyes are not deceiving me, it looks like there is a yellow band at the field stop. Compensating eyepieces, which implies something about the objective corrections. They might be at the very lea...

Re: Restored Leitz Großfeld Stereomikroskop TS
The two light pathes have an included angle of 15° on this scope. So for photography it is useful to have an angled base with 7,5° included angle. I have made one of these with the 3D-printer but a pencil and CD cover will do. The objectives have some potential for photography as the apertures are ...

Re: Restored Leitz Großfeld Stereomikroskop TS
Looks almost new. What is the little clamp thing on the left side of the mounting ring used for? Hello hans. Thanks you. It is a clamp to place lights and it can be moved around the silver ring where you want to direct the lighting. IMG_20210216_110559.jpg But I have one drawback, and that is that ...

Looks nice. Seeing the results of someone else cleaning all the dirt and grime off an old, high-quality microscope is almost as satisfying as doing it yourself, but much less time-consuming. Re: Trying to find out about this Zeiss.
Hobbys46. Charles. Thank you very much for your valuable information and your time. For the above said I think that for that price I would not risk it especially that I do not have much experience with epifluorescence and for someone like me who does not have access to fluorophore less likely. I thi...
