Re: Leitz PL 1x
I never found a 1x - and a while back now moved over to Olympus (the shame...... ) as I wanted to move to the newer generation/s of optics and I had a little spare money. My Leitz was a beautiful Orthoplan - a fantastic 'scope with beautiful optics - some of the type that I can't even dream ...

Re: Leitz PL 1x
Msonchus. Thank you very much for your recommendations, the truth is that they are very accessible at that price, it would be good to try them in other stands as well, but in your post you didn't finally clarify if you kept the objetive or returned it. What happened? I'm going to try to buy both of ...

Re: Leitz PL 1x
Thank you May I suggest you read this thread regarding the Leitz 1x objective: http://www.microbehunter.com/microscopy-forum/viewtopic.php?t=5461 The upshot is that the 1x lens requires a special low-power condenser. And it's not common. I am not sure if the 1.6x requires this as well, or maybe you ...

Nice catch! Did you happen to measure it and what objective did you use? Location would be nice as well :) Hello 75RR. Thank you for your interest. Re: Actinocyclus
Nice. I have never seen these in my samples. Hi, I think a lot depends on the method you use for collection. I use a net for plankton, but I also put inside a nylon stocking that women use, after doing the drag I quickly turn it over and drain it and squeeze it into the glass jar, so a little amoun...

Okay Hobbyst46, thank you for the interest. It's actually very impressive, this breakthrough. Similarly, it can help improve ...
