No, I have not tried that. I have to struggle to see cross-eye stereo at all and mostly fail in doing so... Therefore, I never enable that feature when stacking. Would be neat to see these in 3D for sure.

I clean my slides but throw away all cover glass after use. I have a box with glass to throw away and a box with glass to be cleaned. I never use cleaning fluid. Thank you all for you comments! Yes, I agree. Darkfield is a fantastic technique for beautiful images. I just bought a new oil darkfield condenser that will allow me to go all the way up to 100X at NA 1.4. Before I could only do 0.9.
