I found another cilate in water form the same pond, which might be the 'normal' more oval shaped specimen of this genus or species.

I have also used avidemux but I didn't get good results, because for me it was too difficult to use. I did not understand the terminology. I use 'Shotcut' now. Much more intuitive and lots of 'how to' movies on Youtube. It's also freeware.

I found this nice, colorfull hypotrich in my small pond. It is about 145 microns long, very flexable and if I counted well, it has four or five rows of cilii. I think I saw the CV not far from the center of the body (lengthwise) and two macronuclei nodes.
