There is some variation in condenser sprung screws - probably in stage sprung screws as well. Hello everyone I happen to need a Very specific Zeiss proprietary screw have no idea of the part# only its a 6mm Fine thread .5mm pitch
I have attached a photo of it the same part is also used on the condenser stage as the centering screw.

WOW that is OLD 4x5 views cameras are very vintage 60s and 70s but curiously the Microscope does not look dated? anyone know the introduction time of this scope?

Charles are those olympus Eyepieces in the first scope in that lineup you posted I believe it is a WL Yes, those are Olympus eyepieces. I was not questioning the particular seller I just took a screenshot sampling of one MANY different listings for the aforementioned objective. maybe as another seller did post a reply to my question "its supply and demand" unfortunately I do not own the Eclipse 90i for which this objective is design...

That binoc tube is normally found on the less expensive Zeiss scopes such as the KF-2s.

Get Kpl if you are going to use any Zeiss objective other than achromats.

So I should avoid cpl and focus on KPL type if I am regularly using higher power apo, PH flour objectives etc
I think also the e-pl has the larger tube size of 30mm not compatible with the zeiss binoc tube

MY Standard MAybe 18 does not seem not to have the knob to rotate a filter out inside the nosepiece was this only aval on a polarized version of the 18 or do all 18s have the rotation knob as I have seen some in lot of images on this site.

WOW I thought it was a model 16 how did you know?
