...My guess is that you are looking for maximum physical relief? Such an effect requires a high degree of precision. ... I have always read these modifiers ought to sit near the diapragm, but in this contraption they are much lower. Isn't the position perhaps that important? ... On my 0.90 achromat the diaphragm resides c. 30mm above the bottom plate. Nikon Achr 0.90 is not the best candidate to use with DF inser...
