This is what I got - Assuming it is a micro meteorite

Found 3 of them fairly easily.

That's very tiny! You must look at adding some scale bars so we can see the size of them

Rudi's recent awesome pollen shots inspired me to do some pollen viewing too

This is the pollen of a Morning-glory flower, 40x objective 12image stack.

I'm amazed by the detail in these books, fascinating to think it was done in the 1800's.

Thanks Zzffn, yes it's table sugar. Made a syrupy solution and smeared it on a slide and just let it stand for 2 days - no cover slip.

Very cool. Like to know what preperation is needed on the insect. Thanks for sharing.
