Is the tank acrylic or glass, if glass where did you purchase it (1 1/2 gal), if acrylic was it a kit with everything supplied.

Thank you for a really excellent video, the amoeba does extend itself with short pseudopod in various directions as it travels forward. I've been uploading to photobucket with 1024 and 800 images for the most part but will stick with 800x 600.
Is this a problem with youtube videos also?

Excellent images and sections.
I have difficulty with TS with my home made microtome
with anything less then 4 or 5 mm unless it is a fairly
thick slice.

Thank you Bruce T for your input and correction, I went back to Microworld site and dug a bit deeper into their descriptions & images of Arcella, Centropyxis & Difflugia. Having found and observed many more Difflugia Tests in my area of Missouri then other Testate Amoeba (basic shape but size varies...

Excellent image, damaged at one end or not. Will be looking for
one here in Missouri.

Great images as always, can these be found in fresh water? Here in Missouri or
strictly brackish & salt water.

Looks mighty small to me.

Worked A OK this time but had problems a while back.

The EYE has it, Great Image.

Just a question about the high wattage LED's. How do you cool them? The heat sink even fan cooled
would be a monster.

Excellent images and detail. Do you have a photo of the fly ?
