This is my equipment.

i suspect my condenser has a problem.the diaphragm and the top lens are not in a line.1 and 2...
A and B centering phase ring____C and D centering diaphragm .

Alternatively; you could try the 'afocal' arrangement [with a standard lens on the camera], which is much closer to how the 'zoom eyepiece' was intended to be used. hello everyone ,after change a adapter,it works? i can get FOV when variable lens at 10x,but i can't get a FOV when it at 5x，how can i make it in best work situation.

yes.that is what i want to express.i bought a wrong adapter.the new adapter is in the way.

Edit: I find it very confusing that einman is getting good results, apparently with no additional optics ! ... What important point am I missing ??? maybe we need a additional optics,but the red block is our variable-lens right?,can we keep a long distance with the sensor? can we use a long adapter...
