Re: My Digital Microscope is not Loading

Thanks. The microscope worked for years. Then I I had a stroke and seemed to have a problem with everything including my body. Since I have been peeling away the non-essential. That may include the digital microscopes. I am gonna try once more to get it working.

These are views of the flower of a grass plant just before the seeds form. You can see the cell structure in development.

Re: Foraging Rotifer.

My impression is that the process of eating among rotifers is rather casual. One second the little circle is outside the rotifer's body and the next second it is inside. Not very exciting.

In the early spring, these unique flowers begin to take over the lawn with the bright yellow. Actually these plants are organizational/ mechanical/ structural wonders and beautiful to witness.

I am having trouble using Hayear microscope software for videos. It works very well for still images, but I can't get the videos to work. Can you help me? I think it's a simple problem I just can't get.

The lawn is covered with these un-appreciated plants. When I actually look at them, the very natural engineering is amazing. The pictures were made with the shortest objective and two of the longer objective lenses.

The Voice

The Voice Out of the dark a voice said, "Do you know who that is?" I swear I was asleep then, And when I opened my eyes Francios, the cat was looking down at me from a perch on the pillow. I could only greet her as I greet the morning, the first thanks of the day. I did wonder who spoke, but had no ...

If you look close-up through a microscope at what constitutes flesh, the boxes that organize life squeeze each other in life grips, hug tight. Life wrestles. Small cells make sad attempts to gain against big ones. Where do they get the proclivity to gain? How much do they need to take the space? The...

The celery stalk has to be the arch-typical stem, with it's very unique stringiness. It is a very beautiful plant, much taken for granted.

There is a system to it. We (I use this pronoun advisedly) the team, the couple, the fundamental grouping the unity that keeps life. We are the organization of the world. There is nothing else but empty space, death. With our hands and breasts and bodies, we exist, for a time before vanishing. All t...

This biome has been some time in development. At the first sign of Spring I added water from a small puddle (we have no large bodies of water close by). I always get a lot of rotifers feeding on small organic matter. By now they are massing and forming a thick biofilm.

The microbe census continuously changes. I start with nearly nothing. Then the larger muck-eaters increase. Then I start to get some range in the population. About 60 % of the year here requires that I keep my stagnant water indoors so the population is fixed and diminishing. Only now--in spring can...
