BH2 UMA to MTV3 Adapter
Doing a tube lens set up for a BHM microscope. So using the tube lens un the UMA epi, and instead of a triocular setup, the following modeled tube hooks up to a MTV-3 adapter that has a lens to aim light for the C-mount camera.

MitutoyoBD Objective Threads
So I want to CNC a threaded holder for a Mitutoyo BD objective. Here is the Fusion modeled version a friend printed with a 3D high res resin printer.
Breaking off the supports, the threading just works!! So cool...

WYKO Mrau Interferometer Objective
Using a 10x and 40x Mirau objective, fringing shows on a flat aluminum surface showing slight height differences. The color variances are the differences that can be measured in nanometers in height.
Now I need to figure out the algorithm based on white light interferometry.

Re: Bausch & Lomb DIC Adapted to Olympus with 3D Printed Dovetailing
When I wrote about the pond shape defects, I didn't mean defects in the DIC. I meant that the DIC was emphasizing the defects on the surface. For tube length, I was talking about the B&L is not infinity focus. So I took out the two lenses that fake-out the B&L tube length. The Olympus is infinity fo...

Re: Bausch & Lomb DIC Adapted to Olympus with 3D Printed Dovetailing
Got the CNC aluminum proto-type to test to day. Ultra-cool.
Need to add dovetails to the rings. But it fits.

Looking for RS-232 Codes for Olympus BX-UCB
Hi,
I'm looking to program an Olympus BX-UCB. I'll hunt around some existing code bases on GitHub. But if someone has a manual, that would save a lot of time.
Thanks,
Ted

Bausch & Lomb DIC Adapted to Olympus with 3D Printed Dovetailing
I attached a Bausch & Lomb DIC adapter to an Olympus metallurgical microscope with 3D printed dovetail adapters. Side note, because the Olympus is infinity focus and the B&L was designed with a fixed tube length, the adapter has paired lenses top and bottom, sandwiching the Nomarski prism so as to f...
