It doesn't do anything with the parts that are out of focus. It 'copies' the parts of the images that are 'in' focus and combines those 'in focus' parts into a new image.

Maybe it's just sugar, water and some colouring and not honey at all. I don't think you can filter pollen grains out of honey and still have a product that you could sell at a profit.

Re: Emotional Attatchment To Microbes

What a strange thought. Maybe we should let those pesky microbes have their freedom to do as they (want? will !!!) and let Covid, Dengi, Sars etc, have the freedom to do as they see fit. Wolves will lick your hand, bears will eat your food (and probably you) and bacteria will dissolve your flesh. Li...

Horror of horror's, it's bad enough seeing your finger ends when looking at rocks under the stereo scope. My advise is not to look in great depth at anything that comes from your person.

I kept the tick that gave me Lyme disease, made her a nice little home of sticks and dead vegetation and let her gestate her eggs in a peaceful and relaxed envionment. Her larva as they grew to healthy nymphs were a wonder to behold. I used to let them frolick and play in the warm security of my ar...

Platanus is larger than 30um, see here:- https://www.paldat.org/search/genus/Platanus Salix is around 10um see here;- https://www.paldat.org/search/genus/Salix however there are many species which are slightly different in size. It would help if you could say where and when you found the sample.

I have checked all the pages written in Russian and there is no mention of a price for the software, just contact emails if you want more information. (Use google translate does a pretty good job).

It could be that they no longer exist. The only information I could find about the companies using the software is all Russian based and Altami's website has not been updated for at least one year.

For an image hosting website try this. It's free and has links for your images to post on various web sites including hotlinks for forums such as this one. (This is what I use). Once your image and link is posted into the forum you can click on it to take you to the full size image on Postimages. ht...

Young people also have problems with merging the images on a binocular microscope. Oliver has a video on one of his channels where he mentions this but I could not find it.

Hi JodyMusto,

Hmmmm? Not quite sure how you link image sensor size or image quality to 'Dummy Battery' adapter.

Hi Dave S
Glad you got sorted with the battery adapter is it really a year since you bought the camera?

See here for darkfield (3) and oblique (2). Rheinberg also works. The filter holder sits under the condenser and is a push fit. The scope comes with a blue filter in the holder. The filters I made myself. Click on the image to go to the postimage website then click again to get the image in full res...

Re: Advice for upright microscope? (Budget 300-800 CHF/USD)

Hi If you buy a scope with semiplan objectives you can not swap out the objectives for infinity objectives. the design of the light path in the scope is different. Optically the field of view that is in focus is wider on infinity objectives than on acromats but that is about it. The price difference...

Darkfield condenser. Bresser's Obejctives are like any other manufacturers and can simply be unscrewed. However if you want to have plan infinity objectives you will have to go for the next one up in the range. https://www.bresser.de/Mikroskopie/BRESSER-Dunkelfeld-Kondensor-trocken-Infinity-TFM.html
