Bruce,
great pictures.Image 1 seems to be a stack (combine ZP?) - you can see the "mirror effect" on the edges.
Nevertheless - great.

JimT,
thanks for comment.
It`s made under stereo-microscope (chineses one but of good quality), the magnification is 20x.
It is a 15 images stack done with "Zerene stacker", for lightning I use 4pcs. of "IKEA lamps"
thanks for comment.

Milk- Globules of fat
A little drop of milk squezzed between slide and cover glass is showing you the globules of fat. Milk is an emulsion of fat in an aqueous solution, called whey. The size of the pellets depends on the fat content of the milk. You also can see the pellets in movement (not on the picture ;) ) - Brownian...

Hello vaselle,
your pictures are very nice and show the algae in different sharpnessplanes.
Did you try to stack them? If yes - can you upload some pictures?

Dear gekko,
your equipment is old but fantastic.Unfortunately "Nikon" is very rare in Austria (and I believe in whole Europe).
We mostly use Zeiss, Leitz and Reichert.
