I took a sample from my fish tank tonight. Boy, do I have a lot of copepods and nauplius larva!

Thank you! 3-4 days prior I saw a few copepods with eggs, and without. I now have a little 5-gallon fish tank that I turned into a big specimen jar.

Awesome photos! I always liked taking black and white photos. To me, the subject really stands out in black and white.

What equipment are you using? In the last couple of years, I've been digitizing slides, photos, and movies from the family archives. It takes a lot of patience and time to get good results.

Some of those little guys are fast! To fast to film or take a photo of. I had a cyclops in focus for a total of 3 seconds and then it was gone!

Just an update, I bought an adjustable pipette and it works very well! But boy is it hard to aim under the microscope! Oh, and the magnesium chloride should be here tomorrow. Next is making an Irwin loop, I have the materials already.
