permanent slides from fungal spore prints

Hi Guys, I'm looking for an advice on preparation permanent slides from fungal spore prints. My goal is (if possible) to preserve both microscopic properties of the spores as well as macroscopic (being able to see spore print shape and spore colour)
What kind of mount medium should I use and how to pre-treat the spore print (if at all) before mounting?
