Acetic Acid

#1 Post by MicroMan2 » Sun Feb 26, 2017 2:27 am

Throughout browsing numerous texts on micro-technique I can't help but see an abundance of use of glacial acetic acid. My country doesn't have a easily accessible source of this reagent. My question is can I the much weaker 5% or vinegar as substitute? Also are there any acids, easily accessible that I can use?

Hi Micro'
This is a question already answered - yes vinegar (which is about 5% acetic-acid) can be factored-in, search this forum and you'll find some detailed answers to this that will really help you.
