A friend of mine has a couple of these, one unused. They used to be mentioned in several of the Zeiss instruction booklets for the microscopes, like the one I had for a PM II.wporter wrote:I thought this was interesting:

I haven't heard of it. Whether it was especially good when new? And 40-50 years later?
With mounting media there is always the question what they were made for: Quick, perhaps automated handling and short term longevity for the professional or what else?
