Interesting topic: Sylvester fireworks particles

#1 Post by MicroBob » Thu Jan 03, 2019 4:19 pm

Hi together,

an interesting topic is treated in german Mikroskopie-Forum: Fireworks particles.
Jon Larsen has pictured many of them in his book "In Search of Stardust" (very interesting - buy it!) because you can easily think they were micro meteorites.
Gerd made the suggestion to specifically have a look at these particles and got started.
It really works, I too collected lots of interesting particles in the Sylvester night on 2 m² of plastic foil. Give me some time to take pictures of them.
