Hi these slides are from pigeon fecal floatation sample. Very new to microscopy. Can anyone help to identify my findings? TIA

I repaired a microscope for a pigeon breeder once, so I have some idea of what you are looking for. Apparently, there are over 50 avian parasites they can carry.

Although, the images are pretty low quality, it does seem that you have zeroed in on some structures that probably should not be there. In picture # 1 , the oval structure seems likely to be an oocyst of some type and since coccidiosis is not an uncommon condition in pigeons, it might be worth following that up. Interestingly, right next to the oocyst is a flattened oval structure not unlike certain helminth eggs. Also worth following up.

Perhaps there is an avian parasite image data base, or some info in veterinarian texts. Many of the conditions might also be common to chickens and I would imagine that a considerable amount of work has been accomplished related to chicken health.
