Thanks Pete - I hope the timelines are proving useful to readers, they have helped me date my collection. Plus I enjoy watching the timelines develop.
I have more data on old objectives (pre-1953) and different objective types that I'll post once I receive more information.

Thanks Michael - IMT looks an impressive mode, enjoy! I wouldn’t be surprised if Olympus started the numbering at 400,000 for the IMT, so you likely have unit 5001. My data suggests they did that for some of the later objective types, but I’m waiting for more info to trickle in to confirm.
