My Carl Zeiss Jena Stativ VA from 1910 (ish)

Here is my super cool Vintage Carl Zeiss Jena "Stativ VA"

https://goo.gl/photos/VWxPJqXYDNmpzW5n6

It was designed for low power objectives, and allows then to pass through the stage. The condenser is removable and there is a ring that can be removed to make the opening in the stage larger.

I tried to sell it on eBay, but nobody picked it up. It's not really a collector's item I guess. It has been upgraded over the years. The B objective is a Zeiss of newer age than the microscope and the "C" is missing. (The low power objective took its place). The eyepiece lens is a non-Zeiss, although a good Reichert 8x.

According to instructions, it seems like it is designed to work with an "Arc lamp", does anyone know how they work? There was never any mirror included. Maybe I can source one of eBay?

Maybe it means a carbon arc lamp. Here is an example of a B&L carbon arc lamp used on a Spencer microscope:
