What is this beast?

#1 Post by hkv » Fri Mar 17, 2017 12:20 pm

Anyone know what this is and how it works? Just optics and a camera in a bulky packaging or something more advanced?

At least the price is right... Shipping most likely ten times more.

It seem to be a digital measuring microscope. Search "microwatcher" in that patent and you will see:

Funny how the seller called it portable.

Depending on the exact % of import taxes to Sweden, shipping seems to be around $90 to most European countries, import taxes included...

Try replacing the ".com" by ".fr", ".co.uk" and ".de" in the address and you'll get a reasonably accurate estimate of shipping costs & import duties to Europe, unless import taxes to Sweden are much higher.

As to what it's worth, well...
