These two Spencer model 13 microscopes are finally complete.
The straight tube model MH on the left got a proper Spencer double cone nosepiece, and the inclined tube model MLH has had all of the physically caroded parts replaced and all vestiges of its decades of ignominious service doing urinalysis removed.
A few coats of wax, and they could leap from the pages of the Medical Microscope catalog.
This triggered the arbitrary waxing of the collection. Might take a while
Hope you enjoy these images.

Re: Lovely when it all comes together
Beautifuk family of stands, Jim. I love that warm brass and shiny black master craftsmanship . I have a similar all brass 'drum microscope' from my grandmothers circa 1900 Wells College/ fingerlakes NY college course work.
Thanks for sharing these vintage stands...I'm sure they each had serious worklives at their inception. Charlie guevara
