Labor of love III, Laborlux II

I just acquired this third Laborlux II in order to accommodate a couple of micromanipulators, one new to me and featured here:

As shown, I realize the way I have this scope configured will be a bit blasphemous to other Leitz purists! I had this old self illuminated Ultropak body left over from an old Leitz medical scope - so old that it had a footed base. I was just goofing off trying it on this Laborlux and was amazed that it fit! Also, the same scenario with the little simple polarizing slide holder (I think came off a modern era, beige, SM Lux) - I was amazed it fit this stage!

I will be doing a full restoration of this particular scope with emphasis on airbrushing the paint damage. I'm particularly glad to have this trinocular head that bears both engravings for 170 mm tube length as well as infinity. They're not very prevalent.

Forgive the eypieces looking so filthy. It's a glare artifact of the poor flourescent lighting in my office. More to come in the future...
