Well. It looks like a white corn tortilla( Mexican) on a griddle . 115 um. Any idea how deep it is?

Guesstimate around 30µm depth

The metallic look is caused by the way the microscope handles surface interfaces. You get the same effect with bubbles. It really is nicely photographed.

That was my first thought but could not find anything similar looking.

Perhaps a Brachionus sp. cyst would be another possibility (see d3 in image below)
