Hello,
i found this 'thing' in a sample of stream's water. This seems to me an animal. Does someone recognise it??
The magnification is 100x in the first photo and 400x in the other two photo (where is focused the supposed head).

I'm in Canada, the guide is still relevant though and is very useful. So useful in fact it has already helped me. Interestingly enough, this morning had to clean out my aquarium (pond scum tank) filter and found a worm. So I made a slide mount of it. I didn't know what it was.
