rotifer ID

#1 Post by 75RR » Sat Jul 18, 2015 8:06 pm

Took a video of this rotifer and wanted to put a name to it before uploading it. These are screen shots.
It appears to be enveloped by an accordion like transparent sheath which I have not seen/noticed before.

Tentative ID: Rotifera-Bdelloida-Philodinidae-Mniobia sp.
Two alga are 15µm and 20µm respectively

Can't help with the ID. I've seen some like this as well. Maybe someone will enlighten us both.
