Please take a look at this short video, I'm having trouble identifying what I'm seeing. this is a fresh water sample. As you can see, the organism is about 10 microns in diameter, spherical, and has multiple flagella (perhaps 6 or 8, hard to count). And then you'll see a great number of them connected in one unit. I don't know if they are acting as a colony, or merely got tangled?
