Is this some kind of amoeba? 40/0.65

I've been through a LOT of lichen lately, but I've never seen anything like this. There was something like it on YT, they were calling it some kind of amoeba, and it does resemble that, but I don't know....

I believe it might be a trichome.

Hmm, I'm with you 75' - looks very much like a trichome to me also.
